Or perhaps she noted my running gear with a sniff

and dubbed me Pepper or Karlie or Pegg.

Perhaps instead she took into account my colors and markings.

Did they prompt a Sable or Hazel or Rose?

I wonder what my cat named me?

It would be nice to have had consideration

for the better parts of my personality.

Maybe Joy or Sunny or Truly.
